Make Merry Again :)

Today I have a little cute project to share with you. This project is from Stampin' Up! regionals. I didn't attend but I got the supplies from Stampin' Up! One of the perks for being a demonstrator.
This project uses Berry Xmas stamp set and Bitty box and envelope XL die.
As you can notice I am still playing with my camera, and trying to find the best setting for taking pictures of my projects, as well for what light what setting is the best. This camera has far more settings than my previous one, and I am too lazy to read the hundreds of pages of the instructions manual, I think it's just waste of time ;-)
Scroll down for complete list of supplies for this project.

Supplies:
stamps: Berry Christmas
ink: certainly celery, real red, bashful blue and soft suede
paper: real red, whisper white, bashful blue
other: linen thread, real red polka dot ribbon, silver brads, bitty box and envelope XL die

With Sympathy

Here is a card I made the other day for a friend whos father passed away a week or so ago. These are my least favorite cards to make, I wish I would never need to make another one, but life happens.
I used a lot of retired products on this card, baja breeze card stock, taste of textiles specialty paper and valet ribbon originals. The sentiment is not SU! stamp, I have had it for a long while and liked the font on it, so I kept it.
I took the idea from one of the Stampin' Success magazines from several months ago. Scroll down for complete list of supplies.

supplies:
stamps: Thoughts and Prayers, non SU! stamp
ink: basic black
paper: taste of textiles specialty paper, kraft, baja breeze
other: top note die, horizontal slot punch, valet ribbon originals

Here are some cards

Here are some cards for you. They are old, except the first one, which I made couple weeks ago, but I forgot to share. The last three cards use Fresh Cuts set, Winter Post and Embrace Life.

Oh yeah, update on my camera, no luck, and my husband was trying to look at the pictures on my computer at home, and the computer crushed too. So.... someone will need to go shopping!

Enjoy!

I know I promissed

Sorry all, no eye candy for now. I went to take pictures of the cards and my camera seems to be shot. My husband will look at it today and if it's shot after work we'll be going to get me a new camera.

Until then, feel free to check out my classes and insntructions. The registration for this months classes will be closing in couple days, October 31st.

Friends My Digital Studio Card

So I wrote this whole post and when I clicked publish it was a bad request. Sheesh.

Anyway...I am sorry that I haven't shared any creations with you lately. Life has been crazy busy, as well my trip to CA. I get up in the morning, go to work, get back, then dinner and other chores around the apartment, and still I have boxes that seem to not want to unpack themselves etc. and by the time I am done with everything it's already midnight and I am exhausted. As well the weekend was busy, I had the straighten the kitchen after my trip to CA, which took me a while too, and then Sunday was church, whole foods, grocery store, laundry etc and the day was over.

However last night after the house chores I managed to make two simple cards, one was simpathy (I don't like making those kinds of cards, but life happens, and sometimes no matter how much we wish we won't need them, we do need them) I will share those later, when I take a pic of them.

Changito Friends

Here is a card I made couple weeks ago and realized that I haven't shared it with you. I like the cheery look of it, as well the flowers :) I was just putting in in my Etsy shop and saw that I didn't post it to my blog yet.

Yes, I am home and recovering from a jet lag. Last night Sean and I went over friend's place for dinner (very delicious dinner! ) and after that we played on the Wii, OMG it was so much fun! I did suck, but hey! We stayed until midnight or so. And I was beat up when we finally got home.

ETSY Updated

After a long while, I am updating my Etsy shop again.

All that glitter

Class Instructions (by popular demand I have added some old class instructions)
Flower Folds Class
Inspired by Nature Class

Yesterday I showed you my first digital card, well I kind of turned it into a "Real" card. I am so sorry for the yellowish pictures. I will try to retake the pictures tomorrow when I get home from work when is lighter , hopefully won't be dark and rainy like today. I punched two melon mambo ornaments and using the versamark marker I colored the parts I liked to be glittery, then poured some heat and stick powder, heated it, poured the glitter and heated is again to set the glitter. For the ribbon, I used the white satin ribbon and using a sponge dauber and Melon Mambo ink pad I colored it Melon Mambo, so it matched. The tree branches are made using the Big Snowflake BigZ die.

The background is stamped using the jumbo wheel from the mini catalog Shine and Sparkle.
